The Enemy Within

Win the battle and the war, conquer your fears with faith. Fear is a thief that steals your life away. It is an unseen enemy that takes control of your life imprisons your mind and paralyzes your body. This enemy spreads like a plague, that can be passed down through generations, and taught through social heredity. It can be eliminated, you have the ability to erase it from your mind, wipe it out of your heart, and remove it from your life. By using the strength of your faith, the power of your thoughts and words. Identify the fears that have a grip on your life, keeping you from your greatness. Write down your fears or worries, you identify them, prioritize them from the most detrimental to the simpliest one. Seeing them will help you fight them when they rear their ugly heads. When you fear it you manifest it to be true, instead of fearing poverty or saying that you have nothing focus on what you do have, set goals and work on how to build on it. Maybe your fear is of getting old or dying. If so, live each day to the fullest, don't wallow in regret of the past, be thankful for the time you are blessed with and make the most of it. Death is not the end it is the beginning of a life without sin and unhappiness. Know that with true faith in God you can do anything, it is not fear that stands in your way it is you who stands in your way. Fear and ignorance are twin sisters both seducing you into failure. Failure is not something to fear, it is a tool to be used for learning, each new obstacle is a test of your commitment and determination. Use each failure as a stepping stone to greater things to come. Feed and nuture the positive in your life so it may grow and flourish. Ignore and starve the negative in your life until you kill it like an exterminator. All experiences are lessons learned. Have the curiosity and courage of a child. Life is a stage, each day is a new performance and some are a repeat performance of the very first acts in life. As babies we are cared for and taught by loved ones, although some things are by nature process of development. Say for instance a baby lifting its head up when they are only a few weeks old. The walking process is one to remember and repeated throughout life. This you see is one of the most valuable, first is learning to stand, then you take that most important first then you fall, now some babies get right back up and try again, when others may sit and contemplate their next move and others may cry and not try again for awhile. No matter which type of baby you are, they eventually learned to walk, as in life some learn faster than others. When you look at this you note that this process is repeated throughout your life. Go back to the beginning and take note remember or ask your parents how did you handle obstacles as a baby. As babies take the next step so should you, take a lesson from them, have the faith and courage to overcome your fears and take your next step.

Sex, Relationships, Success?

It has been said that the most powerful and successful people of the world are also highly sexed natures. That sex is one of the most effective stimuli to recharge the mind, providing that the contact of the man and woman is genuine through mutual feelings for one another. It is often said that a woman can either make or break a man and throughout history the most successful and powerful men have had intelligent supportive women on their side.  It is a know fact that a healthy relationship, healthy sex life and a healthy state of mind all contributes to great success.  Do you agree? If not why? Can you become successful without healthy relationships, can you do it alone?  Is sex helping to recharge your brain or is it keeping you from focusing on what you need to do.  In each relationship whether it is with a spouse the chemistry between you must be in harmony for relationship to withstand the ups and downs.  It is when one partner no longer believes or wants the same things the relationship ends.  We each know when the change happens but some try to change the other or themselves to compensate for the change. To be successful in anything you do, it is said, you first must be mentally healthy and that you must be united in your desires. You can not be mentally healthy if you are constantly surrounding yourself with negative influences or maintain a healthy relationship when you each want different things.  The enemies you must overcome are ignorance, illiteracy and poverty. You can not help or fix someone else until you first help or fix yourself.  If you truly want success and all that comes with it, you must first become mentally, physically and financially healthy.  You can not do this if you have negative partners, friends, family or environments blocking your view of the road to success. No matter what you must possess the tact, patience, persistence, self-confidence and knowledge of self with the ability to adapt inorder to become successful.

The Black Wall Street

This is from a recent article in the Scoop Magazine ( A Moment of Black History) and I must say that I was both amazed and devastated by this article that, I had to research it even further.

This was just one of the affluent All Black communities in America in 1921. It was a place where we were working together and prospering which is what I want to emphasize. I do not want you to focus on what happen, I want you to be inspired by what was once a proud community.

Now, what happen to this town was inhumane and disheartening but what they accomplished before the devastation was astounding.  What I want to focus on is how it shows that African-Americans can create a successful infrastructure.  It was written that the dollar circulated 36 to 100 times, almost taking a year for the money to leave the community (can you say WOW).

That to me is amazing as today the money leaves the black community in a matter of minutes. They had there own businesses, doctors, attorneys, transportation and much much more.  We today need to build the black communities back up to its once former glory.  The question is not can we do it, I know we can, it not a matter of how to do it either, the question is when are we going to stop destroying, leaving or abandoning our communities and start rebuilding them and circulating our money back in them. Below is a Youtube video I found of interviews of survivors of this once wonderful and inspiring community.

Our time is NOW to support each other, promote positivity, rebuild those black infrastructures of our fore fathers. We have the capability, we have the knowledge, the financial capability and the time so let's get it done and let's do it bigger and better than it was before. Let's repeat history and build those strong black communities again. In the words of our great President Obama, "Yes We Can!"
