COVID 19 THE GREAT AWAKENING

Can you see it? Are you still asleep? COVID-19 the great equalizer, see it doesn't matter if your light skinned or dark skinned, tall or short, fat or thin, black man or black woman it's killing you all black people.

Have you opened your eyes yet? Black people will you survive and thrive or lie and die? Even in a pandemic the narrative  continues. When will you jump off this hamster wheel of self hate, low self esteem, self doubt and self destruction.  The separation is furthered,  even the closeness of death you still do not see or do not learn.

Can you see it? COVID-19 doesn't care about if your light or dark your skin, it doesn't matter if your hair is nappy, curly or straight. It doesn't care about your religion, your job status or your bank account. It doesn't care who you know, where you live or who you are related too. Its a virus just like the self destructive hate that has infected the black community this contagious sickness that has been passed down throughout generations.

Can you see it yet? COVID-19 doesn't care about the difference in your complexion so why do you? It doesn't care about the differences in your hair texture, why do you? Ask yourself why? It doesn't care about why are you not happy with the way you were born or why you envy others. Ask yourself why do you feel the things you are feeling about yourself and others. It doesn't care about which religion you choose to believe in, so why does it matter to you if someone doesn't believe how you believe. We were born unique individuals not carbon copies, we are different each with our own talents and skill sets.

Can you see? COVID-19 is a wake up call, it has locked you in the house to see and face the truth we have been so busy ignoring. Our differences doesn't matter as far as COVID-19 is concerned. We are the same to it, we are equal opportunity to kill in it eyes.

Do you see it yet? The changes we can make, we can make together. Ask yourself do you want to survive and thrive or lie and die? We all know we are stronger together throughout history has proven this, but there is something else that has also hindered us throughout history. Lack of knowledge, it enslaved us, and continued ignorance is what keeps us divided.

Do you see it no you don't see it do you? Lack of knowledge of who we are as a people, where we came from, knowledge of our own talents, abilities, or limits. No you don't see it do you, what you don't know does hurt you and it has been hurting us for hundreds of years.  Fear, lack, isolation can you see it yet?  COVID-19 the eye opener, if you choose to take off the rose colored glasses you have been wearing. Fear, lack, isolation can you see it? Which one are you focused on fear, lack or the isolation? COVID-19 feeds off of blacks killing blacks, it thrives off of black men against the black women, and the black women against the black men, it hungers for the nutrients of a poor diet, lack of exercise, drugs and alcohol. It loves the self hate, it spreads with the ignorance, selfishness and disregard of many, it mutates in the confusion of debates of right and wrong!

Can you see it or should I ask do you want to see it? That's it do you want to see it or are you willing choosing to be blind or ignorant. Is it fear of dying, fear of ridicule, or just fear of life? Or is it lack, lack of money, lack of self confidence or lack of knowledge? I know it can't be isolation could it, we just got locked down or was it your own self imposed isolation?

Can you see it yet? COVID-19 how do we fight it, washing our hands of the fear, (cleansing ourselves), social distances  (isolating from those not like us) stay at home (remove the lack if we came home together). We have the cure and COVID-19 is giving us the time to cultivate it.  As they are finding  a vaccine or cure for COVID-19,  its time to seek the knowledge of  healing the pain of self hate we have been infected with so many years ago.  To know and feel that we are beauty from the albino to the darkness of coal, from nappy to straight, short to long, slender to epic, we are beautiful people.  COVID-19 is the ugliness we show each other, the hate we feel for each other, it is the abuse we inflict on each other. It is the lies and deceit we tell each other throughout our communities. Its a virus that has been to the most deadly to us throughout the centuries.

When you see it. Be vigilant in changing it. When you see it. Show kindness and compassion. When you see it. Show understanding and patience. When you see it. Teach and give solutions. When you see it. Spread positive messages and hope. When you see it. Show empathy and love.  We are always  helping  others  before  we help ourselves we can no longer continue to sacrifice ourselves. This is the time we need to look at each other with compassion, kindness, empathy and love. We first must heal ourselves in order to help others. Its time for us to see it, learn from it, and heal it. Lets be vigilant and resilient our legacies depend on it!

How To Take Control Of Your Emotions

Do Emotions Control Your Life?

To a certain degree, yes I do think that emotions can control your life and for many people, they are also running their lives. Emotions are pre-determined and they make us human. Some people think that you can merely ignore your emotions or even worse, try eliminate all emotion from their life!

The problem with this belief is that no matter what you try to do, no matter how hard you try to suppress the way you feel, your emotions will always win. They are banging on the door of your mind. The more you try to ignore it, the louder and louder they bang and the harder and harder they pound. This is where some people will inevitably bottle up these emotions until they explode and depending on their personality type, each person will respond in a different way, none of which are particularly pretty to witness. Some time ago, there was a lady who knew her husband was cheating on her, she knew and remained silent for the good of her kids, but also because she was so scared to lose him. The longer and longer this went on, the more and more it became apparent that the cycle of endless cheating would not end. More than a year down the line, she could not take being hurt any longer and just up and left.

Now why did this happen? Simple, she bottled up all the emotions that she had, which she subsequently decided to ignore. Emotions are not something that should be considered as a weakness or a negative thing, they are there to serve as a warning that one or more of your beliefs and life rules have been violated. This woman never pulled her husband up on the belief that he was cheating. If she had, she may well have found that actually, the husband was not cheating on her at all, he was working another job just to feed their family.

Now there was clearly a big issue with communication, as a matter of fact there was no communication and this was a big part of the problem. However this is not something that I will cover in this article. The point here is that emotions can not only be warning signs, they can be felt by people as a result of some one's perception of a particular situation, even if the situation is being perceived completely wrong. This lady took her husband's absence as a violation of her own rules, perceiving it to be that he didn't care about her or want to be with her, she then created a story in her mind as to why he wasn't spending time with her and showing her that he still cared, when really he was just incredibly burnt out.

Now, emotions serve as a very useful tool for anyone trying to improve the quality of their own life, their business, and their relationships, so let's take a brief look at the 10 emotions I Believe to be directly responsible for the quality of one's life.

The 10 Emotions

Discomfort - this is not an extreme emotion but will leave you feeling uneasy feeling as if something is not quite "right"

Fear - this is possibly one of the most useful as it is a clear warning sign for us. Scared, frightened, are words that could be used to described this emotion

Hurt - this could be when someone violates one of your rules that you live life by, this can also be linked to a feeling of loss, which could be tangible or intangible, depending on the situation that can caused this emotion

Anger - being enraged, livid and aggressive, this emotion can be the most externally shown emotion and can take many people by surprise through the actions of the person experiencing it

Frustration - this is an emotion that entrepreneurs and business people often experience and can stop even the most dedicated people in their tracks. This can be altered to serve you in your endeavours as with the other emotions which I will explain shortly.

Disappointment - a feeling of not quite making it, not performing at best or being let down are often used to describe this emotion.

Guilt - This is an emotion that you must act on quickly if you can to stop it from growing root. Sometimes this may not be possible because it has been left too long already, but this can potentially be another devastating emotion if people do not control it.

Inadequacy - the feeling of not being as good as the next person, not as smart, not as strong, not an equal.

Being overwhelmed/Depressed - sometimes people go into a state whereby they describe themselves as being depressed and overloaded in their life, it can also be a pre cursor to the next emotion

Loneliness - The last emotion is that of being lonely, you may feel like the walls are closing in, nobody is there to help you or talk to you. A feeling of being completely on your own can be horrible, especially as we humans are very social creatures and as such, we need connection and love from time to time

How to Utilize Your Emotions

So now you understand the 10  emotions, how do you go about changing them to help you create a better standard of life and increase your own happiness? There are two ways in which you can do this, changing either your perception of your emotion, or changing the situation you are in. For example if you are running your own business and all of a sudden the demand for your products takes a nosedive. You may well have emotions of fear, discomfort, anger, frustration, you could be feeling a number of different emotions depending on your past references and experiences and your own personality type.

So you have these feelings, but remember, they are there to serve you, they are telling you that you need to change the way you are looking at it and perceiving it, or you need to change the situation that you are in. In this case you could first change the perception of the situation and instead of looking at the sudden lack of demand as a bad thing, you can turn it around and say that now you know that demand is shifting so you may need to consider altering the product, changing the product or even the way that it is marketed. This way you will turn it around and potentially make an even bigger profit than before. Notice that after changing your perception, you are then already ready to change the situation that you are in.This may not be the case for every situation, so you need to be mindful as to what you are feeling and what is causing the emotion, then act accordingly to make that shift and change the quality of your life for the better.

5 Fear Based Emotions That Destroy People

Let's face it.  There are only two ways to approach life.  You either honor the fears in your life, or you love your life.  You see, the opposite of fear is love.  If you honor the fears in your life, these 5 fear based emotions will destroy you.  What do you honor?

1.  Anger.  Do you know anyone that is always angry?  These people are angry at everyone.  They are angry at their spouse, angry at their children, angry at their co-workers, angry at the traffic, angry at the long lines they are standing in,  angry, angry, angry.

I know a few people like that, do you?   Have you ever thought to yourself, 'I wonder why that person is so angry?'

I know I have.  One person in particular comes to mind.  With this particular person, my opinion is that this anger derives from feeling a lack of control.  I was always taught that if you have a need to be in control, then you are out of control.

But make no mistake, anger definitely comes from living in fear.  Maybe that person is fearful of losing a business, or losing an income, or losing a person in their life, or whatever.

2.  Jealousy.  Aah, the 'ole jealousy emotion.  This is by far the biggest destroyer of them all.  Excuse me here, but I have to relate this fear based emotion to relationships, more specifically a sexual based relationship.  After all, the most powerful emotion since the beginning of mankind is sex.

If you suffer from severe jealousy of a spouse or partner, you need to take a closer look at yourself.  To overcome jealousy you have to overcome your own shortcomings.  The way I look at it, jealousy is a fear of being out of control. You can't control if someone cheats in a relationship anyway, if they are going to cheat you can't stop it, so don't fret it.  And again, a need to be in control means you are out of control.

3.  Resentment.  Carrying around resentment, in my opinion, comes from a failure to communicate and/or express your expectations of another.  Once again, I know a particular person that carries around loads of resentment for family members.  This person expects certain business family members to perform certain tasks, and when they fall short, resentment explodes.  The fact of the matter is that this family member that falls short of expectations doesn't even know that task or tasks was expected of them  in the first place.  A classic case of miscommunication.

Resentment is totally created by the person carrying it.  It takes loads of energy to carry around resentment.  Refocus that energy in a focus,  productive way and just let go of this crippling emotion.

4.  Anxiety.  We all have felt this type of emotion in some way, shape, form or fashion.  Feeling anxious begins at an early age.  You are anxious because you don't want to be late for school, or you don't want to miss the bus, or you have to be home at a certain  time, or a certain project is approaching a deadline, and on and on.

Feeling anxious, in my opinion, results from trying to meet certain expectations of others.  To relieve this emotion, simply replace your expectation or the expectations of others, with an aspiration.  You simply aspire to do your best.  You aspire to be on time.  You aspire to perform at your highest level.  When you aspire and not expect you are not disappointed, and your anxiety will fade.

5.  Insecurity.  The emotion of feeling insecure affects millions.  Feeling insecure in your relationships, your finances, your marriage, your job, etc.   A lack of self-esteem combined with a poor self-image is a major factor in feeling insecure.  How do you overcome feeling insecure?  My rule of thumb was always 'just go to work'.  Work hard, aspire to do your best, and let the chips fall where they may.  When you have a 'hard work attitude' combined with an aspiration to do your best, you self-image will increase dramatically.

Do you suffer from any of these 5 fear based emotions?  Remember, the opposite of fear is love.  Love casts out fear.  So, try loving more and letting go of fear.  You will see a dramatic effect in your life and your business.

Your Past is Not Your Future

Many persons have had extensive negative experiences throughout their lives. Perhaps they grew up in a divided or troubled family or hung around with the wrong people in the neighborhood when they were growing up.

Some people, unfortunately, go on to commit crimes and are eventually incarcerated for a number of years. Others have experienced physical as well as emotional abuse, depression, or other serious challenges along the way.

Perhaps you have not experienced any of the above, and your life may be relatively peaceful when compared to the above situations. Nevertheless, there is a likely chance that you have faltered in a number of areas up until now, and those failures may have weighed considerably upon you and kept you from realizing your goals.

Many people unfortunately let their past mistakes (as well as past experiences that were outside of their control) determine their present and future experiences. They dwell on the past problems instead of looking for future solutions. Always remember that many people have gone through the same experiences that you have had and have come out on the other side to experience success.

It is crucial that you remember this: where you're headed to is more important than where you've been.

The first step in experiencing real change in your life is to accept responsibility for your actions as difficult as this may be. So many people go through their adult life continuing to make excuses for their mistakes and never accepting complete responsibility as adults. Once you accept responsibility, you'll realize that you have choices to make each and every single day, and these choices will determine the future course of your life.

You may want to deny responsibility so that you don't have to take the blame for your failures. At the same time, accepting responsibility can be scary because there is always the possibility that you will fail in any given endeavor. However, accepting responsibility can also be a liberating and empowering step in your journey towards success.

This is simply because accepting responsibility helps eliminate excuses and all the negative emotions that you may experience when you blame others for your problems. At the same time, it gives you control and allows you to make decisions that will improve your life. You don't need permission from anyone else to begin making the right decisions. This simple truth can be quite liberating and your first step towards success.

Quanta's Jim Britt - Letting Go of FEAR

What is the opposite of FEAR? Anything that is not loving is based in fear. Fear is an emotional conflict within yourself. For example, anger may be the fear of not being in control. Sadness may be the fear of what you have lost or may lose. So the million dollar question is 'How do you let go and walk away from FEAR? Quanta co-founder Jim Britt explains.

Most people have a desire to do more with their lives. However, fear acts as a major prohibiter and prevents them from even trying. Fear immobilizes you and creates friction in your thought process.

A good example of fear in action is one who desires to start their own business. Fear of the unknown or fear of the risk or fear of failing may prevent that person from ever getting started. When you enter the emotional state of fear, your brain is simply trying to keep you safe and secure. In doing something unknown, you may feel as if you're in danger. The brain will automatically have you flee from pain.

There are many theories on how to get rid of fear. After all, fear is not false, its very real. On the other hand, its simply a made up story but one that you believe is true. And if you believe its true, then it will be true for you.

We all have heard the remedy of 'Just face your fears and they will go away'. What about the people that are fearful of 'facing their fears'? There are a multitude of daily routine acts that can be considered risky that may cause fear. Driving a car is risky. Getting married is risky. Riding a bicycle is risky. Snow skiing is risky. Mountain climbing is risky. Raising children is risky. Driving over the speed limit is risky. And on and on. All these acts are risky but we do them anyway. You see, every action you take is either based in fear or based in love.

If you move toward what you want to accomplish in life, then you have moved away from your fears. The more you move toward what you want to accomplish, then the more you will move away from fear. As you move toward what you love you may still feel the fear. However, the key here is to observe you fear and look at it for what it really is. Your fear is simply energy from a thought process based on a past experience that you project into the future with the anticipation that it may happen again.

"FEAR is simply taking a past experience and projecting it into the future with the anticipation of it happening again and re-experiencing it in the present moment. " - Jim Britt

Fear is not real unless you give it life. If you move toward what you want to accomplish in life, then you have moved away from your fears. The more you move toward what you want to accomplish, then the more you will move away from fear. As you move toward what you love you will feel the fear. However, the key here is to observe you fear and look at it for what it really is. Your fear is simply energy from a thought process based on a past experience that you project into the future with the anticipation that it may happen again. is just trapped energy wanting to be released.

When you observe your fear and look at it for what it really is, then you have weakened its hold on you. Or should I say YOUR HOLD ON IT. The act of self-observation is in itself the act letting go of your fear. Self-observation goes one step beyond self-awareness. Self-observation involves not only being aware of the fear, but separating yourself from it and seeing it for what it really is.

Fear is nothing more than a made up story in your mind based on a past experience in anticipation of it happening again. When you self-observe your fear, see it for what it is, you are letting it go. Then you simply move past it toward what you love. Don't give the fear any attention and move past it on a new path,

Growing To Bring Out Your True Potential Doesn't Happen Overnight

How about taking a few minutes of your time in order to learn simple steps on improving the rest of your life?

If you pay attention to what we have to say, that is what this article can do for you.

Read the tips and tricks that we have provided for you, so that you can start to reach your true potential.

When dealing with self improvement, not making a decision means forgoing an opportunity. Do not fear decisions that need to be made, even if you do not have all of the information that you need to be sure of the decision.

Every successful decision that you make yields confidence and assertiveness. Even when your decision is incorrect, you can learn a lot from the mistake that you made. When you make the incorrect decision, learn from this, and make sure that it never happens again.

Take a notebook around with you to jot ideas in. You could for instance carry a small notebook with you, or use an app on your phone. Just write down what their idea or thought is and then develop it more when you have the time and are feeling creative.

Self improvement begins with becoming a leader. There are many different facets of leadership, but the one people talk about most is the ability to win friends and influence people. Identify the leadership qualities you possess.

What events have impacted you the most in your life? How did you use those events to better yourself? What is your best attribute that makes you a team player? By carefully evaluating these questions, you can increase your awareness of your ability to function well in a team setting.

You should always have an idea as to what you personal values are before you develop a plan for personal growth. Focusing on areas you don't value, doesn't make sense. Instead, focus on all that is important in your life, and work to improve those things. If you do this, you can make lifelong positive changes, both personally and professionally.

Write up a motivational speech for yourself. Make a self-empowering post-it note or note card. You can take this with you wherever you go, and review it when you want motivation. You could also record a list of your positive traits and watch them on video. What is the reason?

Accept your limitations before engaging in self improvement. Realizing your place in the big scheme of things is freeing. You will begin to understand that there are many ways to improve. You can then focus your attention on positive growth and development.

Write a pep talk for yourself. Write down all of your good characteristics. You can take this with you wherever you go, and review it when you want motivation. Another great idea is to recite the list while filming yourself, so that you can view the footage regularly. Is there a benefit?

Self improvement does not happen quickly, as this article has shown. However, if you invest the effort in yourself, you will surely benefit and grow from the process. These suggestions should assist you on your journey.

Stop Criticizing Yourself

Has someone has ever caused you emotional pain with careless, mean or sarcastic remarks? What follows are some practical ideas to avoid that sort of pain in the future, and to also make sure that someone is not your own self.

Criticism can be a positive force at times. We must be able to handle it if we are to learn new skills. Without some form of feedback it would be hard to improve our performance or behavior.

But criticism also has the potential to inflict pain. It can cut very deep and even stay with us for our lifetime. Depending on how well you handle it, criticism has the potential to put serious limits on your life, or to take you forward into higher levels of personal performance.

The secret is how you handle the criticism you receive. The best response to criticism is to separate the facts from the opinions of others. A fact is something that is somehow provable and can be shown to be true. An opinion is an idea, or someone's personal interpretation of something.

Take your dog, for example. If you were to think, that's a beautiful dog, it would be an opinion. The underlying fact it that it is a dog you are referring. Your neighbor might think your dog is ordinary looking or even ugly. One thought - it is a dog - is an objective fact. The other thought - it is a beautiful dog - is a subjective opinion.

There are periods in our lives when other peoples' opinions of us seem more important than our own opinion. This especially occurs during our sensitive teenage years. When we are beginning to take our place as a young man or woman, the opinions of our peer's often have a huge impact.

Actually that is a natural part of becoming socialized. But we need to correct this as we become adults. Sooner or later we have to make a serious decision to have our own opinion of ourselves be the most important opinion.

A good skill to develop is the ability to choose your frame of reference. A frame of reference is the criteria by which we judge something to determine if it is valid.

There are two possible frames of reference: internal and external. Suppose you have completed a task at work. How do you know you have done it well? Does your direct supervisor tell you have done a great job, or do you just know without anyone saying so? The first frame of reference is external, and the second is internal.

Actually neither frame of reference is better than the other, and both have their own importance. When learning something new, having an external frame of reference may be useful. It can otherwise be difficult to reach beyond what we already know.

An internal frame of reference, on the other hand, has you deciding what is good, bad, or otherwise. If you use a personal feeling to judge yourself, you are using an internal frame of reference.

Deal positively with opinions. When you are thinking about yourself and how you are regarded, it is beneficial to create some solid, positive internal frames of reference.

People with strong self-esteem operate from a positive internal frame of reference regarding their personal worth. People with less self-esteem operate from an external frame of reference, and are more likely to accept other people's opinions of them. This is does not lead to a positive life experience.

Correct your own negative self-talk by focusing on what you what you do well. Be a little kinder and forgiving of yourself, and stop re-creating past painful judgments by bringing them into the present moment. The interesting to note is that this actually creates positive changes in your brain.

5 Things That Could Be Stopping You From Achieving Your Goals

The New Year is coming and it is again time for most of us to set new goals for ourselves. But before you start making your list, take a moment and try to think back to your last year's resolutions. Were you able to do all of it? If not, try to remember the reasons why you failed to achieve your previous goals. Here are some of the things that might be stopping you from completing your goals to become a better person than today.

1. Fear - Most people stop pursuing their goals because they are afraid of many things. The fear of failing, the fear of being embarrassed and sometimes the fear of succeeding or change stop them from doing what they really want. The only thing that you should fear is not doing anything to make your life better.

Face your fears and free yourself from any doubts. It's the only way to live a happy and better life. When the opportunity to change knocks on your door let it in and don't initially resist it. It could be an opportunity for personal development and to motivate you to follow a new direction in life.

2. Evaluation - There are times when we lose focus on our goals because we try to evaluate the results of our efforts too soon. And when we do, we often find certain shortcomings or flaw with ourselves that make us want to give up even if we're not yet done trying. When you are trying to achieve something, you can review your progress from time to time. But if you don't see any significant changes it doesn't mean that you should give up already. But rather, it is a message that you should try harder and perhaps rethink your strategies.

3. Comparing Yourself to Others. There are some people who often end up comparing themselves based on what others are achieving. Then, they feel miserable when they see someone more successful than they are. Remember that when you try to look around you will always see people who are more successful than you. And when you do see them, don't feel bad about yourself. Instead, try to learn from them and get some ideas on how you can improve your strategies towards achieving your goals.

4. Poor Time Management - One of the most important elements of success is time. When you don't have it, how then can you expect yourself to achieve anything? Time is valuable so, don't waste any minute of it. Learn when your most productive time of the day is, then, set your agenda appropriately. Remember that procrastination is the enemy of success. So, never put off tasks that you can do now.

5. Indecisiveness - If you can't make up your mind about what you really want, you end up not achieving anything at all. Make a choice, stick with it, and never look back. You need to be very decisive on matters that concern your personal development.

Anxiety And Panic Attack Treatment - Is Overcoming Shyness And Social Anxiety Possible?

The regular shyness is innate to every person. This is how we were made and there's nothing we can do to eliminate this bodily response. What we can do is to control and overcome it. This can be done by the sheer force of will, determination, and distraction.

However, people who have extreme shyness often deal with it by succumbing to their private world.

For some people, being exposed to situations that trigger their shyness, like social functions and gatherings, may become a source of anxiety, and that anxiety can lead to panic attacks. How do you prevent that? Simple! Just find some effective ways for really overcoming shyness—it's all about will.

You're not the center of attention. The issue with shy people is their concerns of embarrassing themselves in front of a crowd. When in social gatherings and you're surrounded by people you don't know, it's important to keep in mind that they have their own businesses and reasons why they are there. They did not turn up because of you, except if you're the host. They most certainly didn't attend to watch your every move and hope that you trip or cause a huge commotion in your corner. In fact, a pack of men grouped in front of you may not even notice that you're there. Realizing that this is true can ease up some of the anxiety of extremely shy people and may even qualify itself as an anxiety and panic attack treatment.

Read:  The Anxiety and Phobia Workbook

Remember that there are other people worse than you in the room. It's a big world and you have high chances of finding someone who suck at socialization harder than you. Sure, that statement is a bit too much on the ugly side but it's true. A large number of people suffer from extreme shyness. Some of them cope with it, others can't. You're not the worst and you can still do something about your case. Having this kind of mindset can increase your confidence. By doing this, you can liberate yourself from a good part of your shyness and some of the anxiety brewing inside whenever attending social gatherings. It can prove to be a useful anxiety and panic attack treatment in the long run, not just something that helped you rid yourself from your shyness.

The person beside you is probably thinking the same as you are. Yes. He or she is shy too. Here's how you do it: stop thinking about yourself. Think that that person is feeling the same way as you are, even worse. Try to introduce yourself. Do it the very first chance you get because the longer you wait, the harder it becomes. Because that particular person is shier than you are (at least that's how you should think), take the initiative to ask the questions so you can start a conversation. Make sure you place complements whenever you think is apt and do listen sincerely with what the person is saying. When you do this, the conversation becomes natural and continuous. Furthermore, you will do that person and yourself a favor by building an atmosphere that can make its way to become an anxiety and panic attack treatment.

If these methods do not work for you, it is probably time that you get additional help and support in overcoming shyness. Perhaps medications will do the job but if you're too skeptical with them, natural treatments are available in the form of programs or courses written in books, e-books and recorded in audio and visual CD. 1. Don't let your fears overpower you. Face your fears. Fears are not as bad as you think they are. You will definitely boost your confidence if you effectively face your fears and eventually conquer them.

2. Learn from your mistakes. It is okay to fail. Just make sure you learn the lessons from these mistakes. Then, you won't make the same ones anymore. Learning from your mistakes will also make you wiser and stronger when you face future challenges.

3. Assert yourself. Know what you want and work up the ways to get it. You can make your dreams come true. Do what it takes to reach your goals and materialize your dreams.

4. Reward yourself. You need to approve of yourself because if you don't accept yourself, no one else will. Find ways to reward yourself when you achieve desired accomplishments.

5. Ask and know. If there is anything that you feel uncomfortable with, ask yourself why. Then deal with it. Do what it takes to rid yourself of that discomfort that you feel. Only then will real confidence show.

6. Do not allow yourself to fail. Failure happens when you let yourself be defeated. If you continue standing every time disappointment happens, you are not beaten yet. But if you stop fighting, that's where it ends. You won't get the confidence and the self-esteem you need if you stop the fight and fail to prove to yourself that you can do it.

7. Get help. There are a lot of good materials and people that can help in increasing your confidence. You can even get the help of a professional. Either way, if nothing seems to go right, there are other ways designed to aid you.

These are very simple things you can do to improve your self-esteem and confidence. These are good, effective tips. Follow these and you will see how you can boost your confidence up to the maximum level possible.
